In teaching yoga, Kyra Wiens (RYT-200) hopes to share a sense of wonder and curiosity. Her classes safely advance students’ ranges of motion, proprioception and balance, asana variations, and practice of being present. As a professional Ironman triathlete, she brings a unique perspective on how the physical and mental aspects of yoga can increase athletic performance.
She currently teaches weekly classes at Tuladhara Yoga, CrossFit Gig Harbor, and the YMCA. She has almost 200 hours of teaching experience.
Kyra is currently pursuing her 500-hour certification through Three Trees Yoga in Federal Way, Washington. She completed her 200-hour teacher training at Live Well Studio in Corvallis, Oregon. She gives thanks to her teachers Meredith Holcomb and Kate Gallagher.
