In teaching, Kyra hopes to share a sense of curiosity and embodiment. Classes safely advance students’ range of motion, proprioception and balance, asana variations, and practice of being present. Drawing on yoga anatomy and physical therapy, she offers more strength and stability than is common for modern yoga. As a professional Ironman triathlete, Kyra brings a unique perspective on how yoga can increase athletic performance.
She currently teaches at Source Yoga: Center for Yoga and Mindfulness, the YMCA, CrossFit, and local brewery events. She is also available for private sessions. She has over 300 hours of teaching experience and a continuous personal practice since 2013.
